Wonderful pattern! I wanted to make my husband a pair of pants that were regular but also interesting in some way and this was absolutely perfect. I purchased some woolen fabric as it was wintertime and found this pattern on Etsy. It took a few months to get around to printing and assembling the pattern and cutting the fabric because I felt intimidated, but once I did I realized that the pattern is straightforward and intuitive. I referenced the instructions and pictures throughout the process and made some adjustments like omitting the zipper and using the same fabric for the interfacing as I did for the rest of the body which made it too thick for the sewing machine to sew the button holes so I cut the button holes and used a regular hand quilt-stitch with thick thread to keep the edges from fraying. Everyone compliments my husband on his pants when he wears them out and he is proud to say that I made them myself...but I obviously had help from this pattern. I purchased some other patterns from Bettina and loved all of them as well.
