The Elias coat pattern is designed for frisked woolen fabric with open edges without an inner lining.
I made a design in which the theme of trench coats is combined with the theme of denim. Due to the contrasting satin ribbons, which are reminiscent of jeans seams, and the trench coat style, the pattern is reminiscent of uniform coats, but this is put into perspective by the soft woolen fabric.
The coat impresses with its many details, absolutely suitable for everyday use and cool. The PDF sewing-pattern Alexander is created for boiled wool with quilted lining, the coat is casual and comfortably designed and is closed in the front with a two-way zipper or worn casually open.
Fully lined with a hood where a long scarf is on the front edge, side pockets in the side seam and an inside pocket in the lining. The coat was sewn from high-quality boiled wool, which is perfect for it. There are many ways to wear it, as can be seen in the photos, the coat is definitely an eye-catcher.
I sewed the inner lining of the scarf from a contrasting-colored silk, whereby it also looks very nice and then more casual in a fabric of the same color. Very clear in design, super comfortable and just cool.
